Membership
Members must meet all of the requirements
for Active Membership, and must be approved by the Board of Directors. Student
Memberships are available for those enrolled in an accredited paralegal program.
Member Requirements:
1. Must be a registered Legal Document
Assistant in full compliance with the requirements
of the State of California;
2. Must meet the minimum paralegal education
requirements in California Bus. & Prof. Code
Section 6450 (c) 1- 4,
or possess a current CLA/CP credential;
3. Must pass an examination (click
here to see a Sample Exam); and
4. Must pass a background check, and
be of good moral character.
Membership Fees:
Annual membership fees are $50.00, payable upon submission of the membership application. ALDAPs membership year is May 1 - April 30, new membership applications received between December and April are subject to prorated dues of $25.00.
